Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP maintains a long-standing commitment to community involvement. Our lawyers and staff are active participants in the community, and support a wide variety of volunteer and community activities.

The firm collectively participates in many organized volunteer activities including the Terry Fox Run, the United Way campaign, and various other fundraising activities throughout the year. We also sponsor numerous community events through sponsorships or donations.

The musical and dramatic talents of our lawyers are often showcased at Great Canadian Theatre Company’s annual Lawyers Play; and we have a history of involvement with the University of Ottawa Law School, where we teach and mentor students.

In addition, our lawyers regularly deliver papers at professional conferences and continuing education programs for lawyers throughout Ontario and Canada. They conduct seminars and workshops on newly emerging areas of law, and contribute to the firm’s many blogs.
