Frances Shapiro Munn is an associate lawyer at Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP, and a member of the Insurance Defence practice group.

She provides a range of services to her clients, advising on issues related to accident benefits, personal injury, insurance defence, and general litigation.

During law school, Frances was part of the Refugee Forum, conducting research into legal and advocacy issues facing refugees in Canada. She also worked on consumer rights for Internet users.

Frances is motivated to help people, working out ways to improve a situation not only for her clients, but also for the community at large. She enjoys the intellectual challenge of law, using analysis and critical thinking to solve a legal problem where there is often no straightforward answer. Frances is conscientious and thorough, always making sure her clients fully understand the legal issues at hand and are aware of their options.

Outside of the office, Frances maintains an active lifestyle. She enjoys running, spending time with friends and family, and travelling.
