Michel (Mike) Nolet is an associate lawyer with Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP, and a member of our Indigenous Law practice group.
He attended the University of Ottawa, receiving his J.D. in 2013, and his LL.L. in 2014, graduating magna cum laude. During law school he was a member of the Aboriginal Law Student’s Association and participated in the Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP First Year Moot Court Competition, and the Kawaskimhon National Aboriginal Moot.
Mike completed his articles with two top-ranked Aboriginal law boutiques, first in Ottawa and then Montreal, where he worked as an associate before joining the firm.
He is a Mohawk from Kanesatake, Quebec, and grew up with a passion to defend Aboriginal rights and self-government.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys reading and exercising, and loves spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
